My legislative priorities include enhancing our education system, making health care more affordable and accessible, creating and preserving jobs, easing traffic congestion and assisting senior citizens. I'm fortunate to be on House committees that coincide with some of my legislative priorities: Health Care, Trade and Economic Development and Transportation.

Rep. Jay Rodne was appointed to fill the seat left vacant by Cheryl Pflug in January 2004, elected in 2006, and re-elected in 2008. A marine reserve officer, attorney, and community leader, Jay has lived in Snoqualmie Valley since 1999 and has been continuously involved in community, city, regional, and state civic and leadership endeavors. Jay has seen active duty in both the 1991 Persian Gulf War and the current Iraq War.
